NFL Week 2

I’ve been on cloud 9 ever since the TEXANS‘ victory over the COLTS this past weekend.

This game meant a lot for us, not only because it was our home season opener, but also because in the past 8 years that we’ve played the Colts, we’ve only managed one victory over them. The victory last weekend brings our records against the Colts to 2-15. You have no idea how good it felt to get a victory over them.

This has been one of the best starts to a football season. My college team is at 2-0 and the Texans are at 1-0. It can’t get any better than this.

How is everyone’s team doing and what games are you looking forward to watching?

Texans are up against the Redskins this week. This should be an awesome game not only because it’s a Texans’ game, but also because the coaches from the two teams have worked together and Kyle Shanahan, whose currently the Redskins’ offensive coodinator was actually the Texans’ offensive coordinator last season.

The battle between the Manning brothers is probably another good game to watch as the Colts take on the Giants.

  1. Like I mentioned on your first football post, I don’t really follow it myself. My hubby though is a Raiders fan and apparently they sucked with a capital S last weekend! LOL

  2. In this part of the country, we’re all about college sports and don’t follow the NFL. We love the Hokies and they’re not starting out too good this year – we’re praying for a win today.

    • ohh. texas is known for their college football too, but i love both college and professional. i like seeing a player developing and going from college to football and seeing how they grow into a professional player. ahhh. so you’re a hokies fan! i’ll have to keep an eye out for their games now.

  3. We follow USC football because a few of my relatives and my stepson, who just graduated in May. We also watch Minnesota because a kid from our area plays for them. Tomorrow I’m driving with my best friend to Bloomington, IL, which is about 2 1/2 hours away, to watch her son who plays for Illinois Wesleyan. Right this minute I’m watching Clemson and Auburn. Oh, and USC and Minnesota just played each other before this game. Watched that too 🙂

Go Rams. Heh heh But I’m happy for my son, a KC Chiefs fan. They finally won a game last week and he was so excited.

    • hahah. wow you watched a ton of games last weekend! you weren’t kidding about being a football fan. i’m glad i’m not the only one that goes crazy over football. i think a lot of my friends are getting weirded out by my passion for football.

oh i know! kc is at 2-0!! it’s insane after their record last season.
